Trumpet was briefed by outdoor clothing brand, Craghoppers to provide PR support for the premiere of its documentary Hope. The 15-minute film, narrated by Sir David Attenborough, highlights the work of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund International in Rwanda. The premiere at Google UK in London had a clear aim to raise awareness of the critically endangered mountain gorilla and also publicise the relationship between the charity and Craghoppers.

Trumpet’s role, in the multi-media campaign was to invite national journalists and celebrities to the event and achieve coverage outside of the usual ‘outdoor’ publications that Craghoppers are regularly seen in.

Trumpet devised the campaign press pack and managed all media relations around the premiere and post event.

Trumpet secured fantastic results with 10 national media journalists attending the event, as well as wildlife presenters Patrick Aryee and Nigel Marvin also showing their support on the night. Coverage highlights for the campaign included: The Guardian Online, Wired.co.uk and BBC Wildlife Magazine.
